Jiayu Chen

Associate Professor

Jiayu is the principal investigator of the Human-centric Building Information Lab at Tsinghua University. He specializes in the research human-centric sensing systems, intelligent construction systems, building and urban system digitization.

Yuanyuan’s research concentrates on integrating the Construction Motion Data Library (CML) and developing deep learning algorithms to investigate efficient approaches for recognizing and managing construction working activities.

Hejun’s research focuses on the digitization of building construction. He employs building information models in conjunction with sensing technologies to produce digital twin models of buildings and urban environments.

Rui’s main research areas include joint simulation and modeling of building energy consumption, urban microclimate and energy management at the city scale, and urban semantic modeling and analysis.
